Bursting Barriers in Education gives parents the tools they need to advocate so their children have a positive educational experience. Navigating the Education System Courses are a deep dive into the laws, processes, eligibility, and paperwork of the education system leading to informed parent advocacy.
There are limitations imposed on teachers by the educational system, however, in order to meet everyone’s needs, there has to be flexibility. One goal of Bursting Barriers in Education is to deliver options that create opportunities for improvement and growth. The courses identify Tier 1/Tier 2 Response to Intervention (RTI) accommodations that the school could put in place now. The focus is on positive problem-solving to move towards successful learning outcomes.
